Marky began his DJ career back in
the early Eighties at a tender age of fourteen. He was
introduced to the soul music scene by his elder brother
Aja and was soon hooked and on his magical journey
further into soul and jazz and become a member of the
Jazz Syndicate!

Marky works as a club DJ at various locations across the
UK and he has played in Europe for various promoters
including 'Med Soul' in Spain and 'Soul Matters' in
Germany in the 80's playing to American serviceman
serving in Southern Germany. In 2003 Marky started the
online radio station Jazz Syndicate radio ( JSR ) and
the station ran till March 2008 when the station had to
come off air due financial and legal reasons!
Away from the DJ life Mark progressed
into promotion of artist, bands and also his own club
nights! He has had the pleasure of working with The
fatback band, George Duke, Candi Staton, Leon Ware , Tim
Dillinger, James Day and a whole host of independent
artist and groups!
